OMS Practice Leader
We are a RegTech and FinTech consulting firm seeking an OMS Practice Leader to grow our practice by supporting and building upon our methodology for implementing Order Management Systems into our CLEAR Framework product solution. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable, deep expertise in one or more commercial-grade Trade Order Management Systems and should understand key functions for front, middle, and back office as well as compliance.
Responsibilities:
Grow the practice in accordance with company goals:
- Establish IMP as a trusted partner with clients by delivering consistently outstanding service
- Expand contacts throughout the client organization
- Land additional projects at current clients
- Support and enrich the training program for the CLEAR Framework methodology
Consistently meet P&L goals
- Manage team utilization to goals
- Enhance team skill and knowledge to support utilization and rates
- Grow the team
Demonstrate industry thought leadership
- Stay up to date on industry best-practices and trends
- Build personal credentials and demonstrate expertise by completing speaking engagements each quarter, with at least one external (e.g. industry conference)
Requirements:
- Expertise in at least one OMS
- Demonstrable knowledge across several product strategies, e.g. large cap equity, balanced funds, core fixed income, hedging strategies, credit derivatives, money markets/cash management, etc.
- Strong understanding of the financials of professional services firms
- Capable of presenting to all levels, including C-Suite
- Ability to plan testing programs, utilize and improve testing artifacts, and staff testing teams
- Understanding of departmental of Profit & Loss (P&L) and managing to utilization goals
- Ability to identify and close gaps in team performance and understanding
- Project management skills
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years investment management experience
- Minimum 5 years OMS implementation or support experience
- Experience in front office implementation or support
- Experience running a high-performing team and growing the practice
- Successful track record of developing and nurturing referenceable clients
- Experience in expanding company contacts and developing new client relationships
- Candidate should have industry contacts that support his/her level of industry experience
Job Type:
Full-time; in-person Boston office 3 days per week at minimum

Pay:
Salaried; $130k - $160k per year with bonus opportunity
